Made-to-measure oak flooring

You send us the floor area, the pattern you want, the board format and the tone. On that basis we prepare a quote with a production lead time. Once it is confirmed the floor goes into production: boards are cut to the agreed dimensions, the surface is sanded and the chosen protection applied. The lead time is confirmed with the quote, because it depends on quantity and the finish.

Rustic plank is made 150 or 180 mm wide, in lengths from 700 to 2200 mm. Chevron is 135 or 150 mm wide and 450, 550 or 650 mm long, with a 45°, 52° or 60° joint. Herringbone is 135 or 150 mm wide and 500, 600 or 700 mm long. Thickness is 12 or 13 mm. The build is multilayer, made of birch and Slavonian oak, and suitable for underfloor heating.

Rustic plank is wide 150 or 180 mm boards laid in rows. It is the calmest pattern, making a room feel larger and warmer. Chevron uses boards cut at an angle and joined into a regular V, so the joints form an unbroken line and visually lengthen the room. Herringbone uses boards cut at 90° that overlap in the classic zig-zag, and it is the most recognisable and most decorative of the three. The timber, thicknesses and finishes are identical; only the board format and the impression differ.

You can take the floor oiled (Rubio Monocoat) or lacquered. The oil palette has 25 shades, from near-whites (Pure, Cotton White) through natural and warm tones (Natural, Oak, Havanna) to darks and greys (Chocolate, Smoke, Titanium Grey). The surface can be natural, rustic or brushed.

Slavonian pedunculate oak grows slowly in dense stands, so its growth rings are narrower and the timber denser than oak from fast-growing plantations. Denser timber means a harder wear layer, a more stable board and a calmer grain. It is the same oak that has been sought after for barrels and veneer for decades.

Yes. Treads are made from solid Slavonian oak, to the measurements of your staircase, and finished in the same shade as the floor. If you order flooring and treads together, the tone comes from the same sample, so the transition from floor to stairs does not show.

No. Arboline manufactures and sells flooring and stair treads; we do not install, sand or lacquer on site. That also means we tie you to no particular contractor. You can have the floor fitted by the tradesperson you already work with.

Yes. We sell across Zagreb and the whole surrounding area: Zagreb County, Sesvete, Samobor, Velika Gorica, Zaprešić, Dugo Selo and Sveta Nedelja, as well as the rest of Croatia and Slovenia. Flooring and treads are collected at our workshop, Slavenskoga 1 in Zagreb, where you can also see samples before you order.
