We make stair treads from solid Slavonian oak, in the dimensions you send us for your staircase. They are made alongside our flooring, so stairs and floor share the same oak, the same tone and the same finish.
The finish is chosen exactly as it is for flooring: oiled (Rubio Monocoat) or lacquered, in 25 shades, natural, rustic or brushed. If you order the floor from us too, we match the tone from the same sample.

Measurements taken from your staircase
Every staircase is different, so treads are made to the dimensions you send us. Length, width and thickness are all made to measure, as is the number of treads. If you have a drawing of the staircase, that is all we need; if not, we will go through the list of required measurements with you.
The same oak as your floor
The usual reason stairs clash with a floor is a different supplier and a different batch of timber. When treads and flooring come out of the same workshop, from the same Slavonian oak and in the same shade of oil or lacquer, the transition from floor to stairs simply stops being visible.
Built for the traffic stairs take
Stairs are the most exposed part of any floor in a house. That is why we make treads from solid Slavonian oak, dense timber with narrow growth rings, and finish them with the same protection as the flooring, in matte lacquer or Rubio Monocoat oil.

Frequently asked questions about stair treads
How are the tread dimensions determined?
Treads are made to measure, to the dimensions of your staircase. We need the length and width of each tread, the thickness you want and the number of treads. If you have a drawing of the staircase, sending that is enough.
Can the treads look exactly like my floor?
They can, if they come from the same workshop. We make treads from the same Slavonian oak as our flooring and finish them in the same matte lacquer or the same shade of Rubio Monocoat oil, so floor and stairs stay in one tone.
Which finishes are available for stair treads?
The same as for flooring: oiled (Rubio Monocoat) or lacquered, in 25 shades. The surface can be natural, rustic or brushed.
Do you fit the stairs?
No. Arboline manufactures and sells stair treads; fitting is arranged with your own joiner or contractor. You collect the treads at our workshop, Slavenskoga 1 in Zagreb.
